DogMotoSports Sled Dog Commands

The genius of DogMotoSports is the training and physical capabilities normally necessary for Dog Pulling Sports are not necessary as the Dog Driver has full control of the dogs through the way they are tethered to DogMotoSports designed bikes which controls the steering, braking and speed of travel making it possible for almost all dogs regardless of breed, size, and life stage to participate. So DogMotoSports therefore makes it ideal to train Sled Dog Commands which can help the dogs better anticipate the direction you want them to go as well as these commands can be so useful for other dog training aspects as well as if you do want to do JORING (Dog-Powered Sports) with your dog!

I do train my Dogs using common mushing terminology aka sled dog commands the way I was taught. Some tweak the terms for their own purposes and reasons (almost like an accent or slang people have according to where they are from or raised). For instance for a U-Turn (180 Degree Turn) to the LEFT I say “HAW COME AROUND” some say “HAW COME” . There are many different variations of this HAW command for moving over, turns, U-Turns etc… the constant terms though are all the same where HAW means left, GEE means right and other basic sled dog commands. Below are some examples of me using commands as am doing DogMotoSports and a fun video I wrote a song for about some of the most important Sled Dog Commands!
